Screencast Video

Screencast videos are another web 2.0 service.  It can help you communicate with more clarity and impact than you can with written words alone. Popular uses in education include:
  • Recording procedures and answering frequently asked questions.
  • Giving students audio-visual feedback.
  • Recording lessons that students can access anytime, anywhere.
  • Making a video to help your guest teacher and students if you have to miss class.
I created a screencast video "My Case Web 2.0".

Presentation technology

The presentation "My Case Web 2.0" was made with the help of prezi.com. It is one of the presentation technologies existing in Internet. They can be used in classrooms for students to make them interested if to show, or involved as a task for them to prepare some information on any topic.

Timelines in education

Timeline is another service for visualizing events. It is the best thing for History classes. All the events are represented in a chronological order. More information you can find here: delicious
Here we used timetoast. www.timetoast.com
This timeline is about my experience in working with this blog.

Mind mapping in education

This mind map was made with the help of bubble.us. (/bubbl.us/)
mind map is a diagram used to visually organise information. A mind map is often created around a single concept, drawn as an image in the center of a blank landscape page, to which associated representations of ideas such as images, words and parts of words are added. Major ideas are connected directly to the central concept, and other ideas branch out from those.
Mind maps can be drawn by hand (using felt pens on blank paper), either as "rough notes" during a lecture, meeting or planning, for example, or as higher quality pictures when more time is available.
It can be used in the class as one of the best ways of visualizing and making the information easier for students to understand.
